Our people are drawn from a small group of associates with skills across a range of professional disciplines and industry sectors. We take on additional team members as needed for special projects.

Christine Hawkins, Managing Director M Comm (UNSW), CPA, FAICD

Christine is an economist and corporate adviser. She specialises in exploiting the critical role of governance in the development of strategy.

Throughout her career in investment banking, Christine was involved in major industry restructuring projects, long term strategy formulation, commercialisation of ideas and technologies and she has been personally responsible for several business start-ups. She was a founding partner of an Australian investment bank in the 1990s.

Christine has been an executive and non-executive director of many companies, public and private, and on the board of several Commonwealth statutory authorities. She was a NSW finalist in the Telstra Businesswomen's Awards in 2002 and is an author and presenter for the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Christine specialises in the culture of good governance, board performance evaluation, the role of ethics in governance and the long-term strategic environment affecting the future of business models, in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. She works with organisations to develop a clear vision in a time of complexity and uncertainty.

Brian Ducker, Executive Director, Compliance Pragmatics MA (Cantab), FCAA, FCAEW

Brian has over 30 years' experience in banking and finance, including structured and project finance. He is focussed on the development of sensible compliance policy and working with our clients to achieve the cultural change necessary to embed this in good business process and bring life to compliance policies.

Brian has undertaken projects for several major banks in developing compliance policy, its implementation and effectively embedding good practices in business units, including staff training. He provides core expertise during periods when organisations are over-stretched. He writes the best product disclosure statements you'll ever see.

Brian works with financial institutions to develop realistic, achievable, compliance models. His drive to achieve outstanding performance pushes us all to do better than we thought we could. There's not much that he doesn't know, about most things, so he keeps us anchored.

Andrew McRobert BBus(Dublin), FSIA, GAICD

Andrew specialises in insovency, credit, portfolio risk management, lending and problem loans management. He has survived several Australian economic crises and lives to tell the tale. In recent years Andrew has worked extensively in the Asia-Pacific region and speaks fluent Indonesian and French. Andrew is the co-author of the acclaimed text "Corporate Collapse".

Andrew works in organisational repositioning and renewal. His quirky humour keeps everyone bright and chirpy.

Sandra Caves M Comm (UNSW), CPA, AIM

Sandra is a whizz at business process and policy development. Through her firm Lighthouse Blue Pty Ltd she specialises in reorganisation of management roles and teams to enable more efficient decision making, accountability and work flow. She is a business coach and qualified mediator, so she brings a sense of calm and perspective to the sometimes frenetic business world (including ours).

Sandra has experience in organisations ranging from retail to legal services, chartered accountants and schools. She is invaluable in the not-for-profit environment.
